Meeting Planning Reminders:Affiliated Chapters are reminded that chapter meetings should not be scheduled within 30 days of an SVU sponsored meeting in their geographical region. Since the SVU meetings held around the United States are geared towards topics that generally differ from those offered by the local chapters, the SVU meetings draw attendees from surrounding states in that geographical region. Please contact Steve Haracznak at steveh@svunet.org or Paula Walsh at pmwalsh@challiance.org if you are unsure if an SVU meeting would be considered to be in your geographical region. SVU-CME’SAs written in the Chapter Guidelines, ‘the ability to earn SVU-CME’s… is one of the most valuable benefits of affiliating with the.. (SVU.)’ Please review the Guidelines for CME applications posted on the SVU website. Be sure to submit the application with the required supporting documentation and fees at least 2 weeks prior to the program date to allow processing of the application. |
