No Member Dues Increase for 2008!

Recently the Executive Committee of the SVU Board of Directors met by conference call and decided not to increase the member dues renewal rate for 2008 – it will stay at $110/year! This is the 5th year in a row at that rate, allowing SVU members to continue to receive all of the valuable benefits of membership in 2008 at no additional cost. This was a difficult decision to make, especially in light of rising costs almost across the Board, but the Executive Committee felt that raising dues after the first year of the DRA reimbursement cuts for many vascular exams was not the right thing to do. The SVU Board of Directors will formally approve the CY2008 operating budget in early December. Watch for your 2008 SVU member dues renewal invoice that will be mailed to you in November. Thank you for paying your 2008 dues promptly, as well as considering additional voluntary contributions to SVU’s Advocacy Fund and the Anne Jones Education Scholarship Fund.
