2008 SVU Education Program Schedule Announced

The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) announces its 2008 Education Program Schedule. In 2008, the Society is offering an Introductory and an Advanced Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Course, as well as its Annual Conference at the Vascular Annual Meeting 2008, and a Special Vascular Laboratory Testing and Management Course the day before the 2008 SVU Annual Conference. SVU will also present two Registered Physicians in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Exam Review Courses in 2008.

SVU selects experts in the vascular ultrasound profession to lead SVU’s valuable courses and provide vascular technologists and physicians the opportunity to fulfill the continuing medical education (CME) requirements necessary to retain their credentials as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). The courses also enable physicians the opportunity to earn Category 1 credit hours towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Some vascular ultrasound vendors exhibit their equipment and educational material at each course.
