Special Prizes given out at the 30th Anniversary Gala Reception in Baltimore

During the 30th Anniversary Gala Reception in Baltimore, Joanne Drago of the 30th Anniversary Subcommittee randomly handed out to each attendee a special sealed bottle that included either the name of a special prize from SVU or a note saying, "Sorry, see you next year in San Diego at SVU's 2008 Annual Conference."

• Complimentary registration to 2007 SVU Current Issues Conference in Arlington, VA - Michelle Swihart, Akron, OH
• Complimentary registration to 2008 SVU Annual Conference in San Diego, CA - Tatiana Zelenski, Baltimore, MD
• SVU membership renewal for 1 year (2008) - Paul Zajkowski, Flat Rock, MI
• Complimentary copy of "Techniques in Noninvasive Vascular Diagnosis Manual" - Jean Primozich, Seattle, WA
• Complimentary copy of "A Practical Guide to TCD Exams Manual" Amie Frank, Flint, MI
• Complimentary copy of the "Knock'em Dead: The Complete Guide to Public Speaking in the Medical Community Manual" - Philip Silva, Lake George, NY

In addition, cash prizes of $20 were given to 32 different recipients, and five SVU 30th Anniversary Annual Conference T-shirts also were given out as prizes to attendees. The bottle prize give-away was a lot of fun and enjoyed by all. Thanks to Joanne Drago for an exciting activity at the Gala Reception.
