Affiliated Chapters Recognized at SVU Annual Conference

The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) presented several awards to its Affiliated Chapters and their leadership at the SVU 30th Anniversary Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD. There are 22 SVU Affiliated Chapters and 2 SVU Affiliated Student Chapters.

The 2007 SVU Outstanding SVU Affiliated Chapter Individual Recognition Award was presented to Jeanette R. Flannery, RVT RDMS, from Union, NJ, in recognition of her outstanding work as President of the North Jersey Vascular Association Chapter (NJVA).

There was a three way tie this year for the 2007 Outstanding SVU Affiliated Chapter Recognition Award. As a result, the following three chapters all received recognition of their membership growth and for their continued support of SVU's membership efforts as outstanding chapters:

North Jersey Vascular Association (NJVA) - Accepting the chapter award certificate for the NJVA was Chapter President Jeanette Flannery, RVT RDMS.

Northeastern Pennsylvania Vascular Chapter (NEPVC) - Accepting the chapter award certificate for NEPVC was Nancy L. Rist, RN RVT, Chapter President.

Red River Valley Vascular Society (RRVVS) - Accepting the chapter award certificate for RRVVS was Judy A. Fried, RN RVT CVN FSVU, Chapter President.
