Special Thanks to the Following SVU Signature Lab Members for 2007

In November 2006 SVU announced the formation of a new “Signature Lab Membership” category that requires 100% membership participation in SVU by the labs vascular technologists. Vascular ultrasound laboratories that have at least 3 or more SVU member vascular technologists/sonographers and at least one affiliated physician SVU member could become a SVU “Signature Lab” and receive significant discounts on the SVU membership rate. The amount of discount depends on the number of SVU member vascular technologists/sonographers per lab. Signature Lab members must apply each year to retain their special member designation.

There are four types of SVU Signature Laboratory membership levels:

Signature labs with 100% SVU participation indicate a high level of dedication to the profession and to achieving the goals of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. SVU Signature Laboratories receive a special SVU Signature Laboratory Member Certificate to designate their excellence of membership participation in SVU, as well as special recognition in SVU publications and at the Annual Conference.
