Educational Meetings

SVU and its affiliated chapters are dedicated to the advancement of non-invasive vascular technology. The chapters are specifically dedicated to education for a geographical region, however, upon occasion SVU provides Interpretation Courses in the various regions of the country that attracts attendees from a number of different states in those regions. When planning your local chapter meetings please check the Events Calendar on the SVU website for information regarding any SVU Interpretation courses scheduled in your region, in addition to the dates for the Annual Conference, which may conflict with scheduling of your local chapter meetings.

As a reminder to the chapters, the Chapters Guidelines prohibit scheduling a meeting either 30 days before or 30 days after the SVU Annual Conference or an SVU Interpretation course held in a Chapter’s geographic region. Affiliated Chapter Presidents or Program Directors should inform the SVU staff as soon as you know the dates for your local chapter meetings, so conflicts can be avoided from SVU’s scheduling of the Interpretation courses in your region of the country.

For additional information or assistance, please contact your regional advisor or one of the Chapter Co-Chairs. Additional advice and information is also available in the Chapter Guidelines which are accessible online at www.svunet.org/chapters/Chapter_Kit.pdf.
