SVU’s Signature Lab Membership Category: Make Your Vascular Lab Stand Out

On November 1, 2006, SVU launched a new member category for vascular ultrasound laboratories that have at least 3 or more vascular technologists/sonographers and at least one affiliated physician. Since its launch, SVU now has a total of 16 Signature Lab members for 2007.

These members receive significant discounts on the SVU membership rate. The amount of discount depends on the number of SVU member vascular technologists/sonographers and physicians per lab.

Here are four types of SVU signature membership levels:

Signature labs with 100% SVU membership participation indicate a high level of dedication to the profession and to achieving the goals of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. SVU Signature Laboratories receive also a special SVU Certificate to designate their excellence of membership participation in SVU.

If you are working for vascular lab that meets the criteria to become a Signature Lab, and you’re ready to sign up, forms are ready and available for you to download. If you have already renewed your individual SVU membership for 2007, you can still qualify for Signature Lab Membership in 2007 if at least two other vascular technologists/sonographers and at least one physician in your lab meet the Signature Lab requirements.
