SVU Receives Certificate of Appreciation from CMS

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) for its dedicated work on the Fistula First Coalition. The Certificate, signed by CMS Administrator Mark D. McClellan, MD, PhD, states, "For extraordinary dedication and outstanding contributions as a member of the Fistula First Coalition, moving the nation towards achievement of the Healthy People 2010 objective of increasing the proportion of hemodialysis patients with arteriovenous fistulas. Representing SVU on the Fistula first Coalition were: Bill Schroedter, Anne Jones, Dr. Cliff Sales, and Billy Zang. Congratulations to all of them for their outstanding effort on behalf of SVU.
