Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Indiana Chapter

NOTE: MEETING POSTPONED TO THURS June 8, SAME LOCATION & TIME.

The Ohio, Northern Kentucky & Indiana Vascular Technologists (ONKIVT) chapter will hold their spring meeting on May 24, 2006 at the Christ Hospital. Speaker is Dr. Joseph Giglia, who will discuss Laparoscopic Aortic Surgery. 2 CMEs will be granted to meeting attendees. Contact Dave Parlato at 513-585-1439 for more information.

Northern Ohio Vascular Association

The Northern Ohio Vascular Association (NOVA) chapter will hold their spring meeting on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Briarwood Golf Club in Broadview Heights. 5 CMEs will be awarded to meeting attendees. Meeting topics include: Sub-Intimal Angioplasty, Management of Chronic Venous Disease, and Vessels in the Abdomen. Contact Barb Wolfs at 440-816-2781 for more information.

Greater Boston Vascular Technologists

The Greater Boston Vascular Technologists (GBVT) chapter will hold their spring meeting on May 13, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital. Speakers include Marsha Neumyer on Physiologic Testing, Dr. Dennis Tighe on PFO Diagnosis and Management, and Dr. Leon Josephs on Endovenous Ablation Therapy. Kentucky Vascular Society

The Kentucky Vascular Society (KVS) chapter will hold a meeting on April 25, 2006 at the University of Kentucky Hospital from 6-9 PM. There will be a catered BBQ dinner and it has been approved for 3 CMEs. Topics include review of a JVU article and pre- and post-duplex for LE ischemia by subintimal angioplasty. Dr. John Gurley will discuss the interactive role of the vascular lab and interventional cardiology. Wrap-up will include an update on current legislative events. Silent Auction at 2006 SVU Annual Conference in Philadelphia

We are asking all Chapters to participate in our Silent Auction at the SVU Annual Conference this year in Philadelphia. It does not need to be a large item. We are not competing, only hoping for more participation. Gift certificates are preferred. All items will be shipped to the Silent Auction winners after the Annual Conference.
