April 2006 | Vol. 24, No. 4 Special Vascular Physics Review Course in Philadelphia, May 31, 2006SVU, in conjunction with the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and Pegasus Lectures Inc., will hold a one-day Special Vascular Physics Review Course in Philadelphia on May 31, the day before the start of SVU's 29 th Annual Conference there. The course site is the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel, but the SVU room block is in the adjoining Courtyard Marriott Philadelphia Downtown Hotel. This 1-day course is an in-depth review of vascular physics for physicians planning to sit for the new ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam, or for vascular technologists and others interested in a review of vascular physics. This one-day course, taught by Frank Miele, MSEE, President of Pegasus Lectures, Inc., will focus on reviewing the vascular physics skills as specified by the exam content outline, including case-based test question simulations. Each attendee will earn 8.25 AMA Category 1 CMEs and 8.5 SVU-CMEs for attending the entire course. They also will receive a complimentary CD of Frank's PowerPoint presentations and case studies from the course.
