2006 SVU Board Election

Based on the recommendations of the 2006 Nominating Committee, the Board approved five candidates for three open positions for three-year terms (2007-2009) as Technologist Directors on the Board of Directors, and two candidates for one Physician Position for a three-year term (2007-2009). All of these positions will be effective January 1, 2007.

In the 2007 Annual Election, three Board of Director positions will be up for election to three-year terms (2008-2010) and four officer positions will also be up for election for two-year terms (2008-2009).

The SVU Officers and Board of Directors will continue to face many challenging issues facing the vascular ultrasound profession, as well as the Society itself, as other organizations move into the ultrasound field.
