Detailed Sidley Austin Analysis and Code-by-Code Impact Charts of 2007 Final Physician Fee Schedule & HOPD Final Rule Now Available

Sidley Austin, SVU's regulatory/legislative advocacy firm, has done a very detailed analysis of the 2007 Physician Fee Schedule final rule and HOPD final rule, and has developed two related Excel spreadsheet charts: one of the Code-by-Code impact of the DRA Cuts on Vascular Ultrasound Payments (with RUC/APC Changes included) and one chart on Ultrasound/Echo Codes. The rules implement effective 1/01/07 the imaging cuts found in the Deficit Reduction Act, but the PFS final rule now excludes several ultrasound codes not initially excluded in the PFS proposed rule.
