2006 SVU Dues Renewal Invoices Mailed – NO Dues Increase for 2006

You should have received by now your 2006 dues renewal invoice notice and cover letter in the mail. More than 800 members have already renewed their SVU membership for 2006.

As mentioned in the cover letter, the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors has decided there will be NO dues increase for 2006 because of decreasing support by employers and increasing costs in other areas of your lives. Your regular member dues for 2006 again will be $110, the same amount for the past two years. This dues payment equates to just a few hours of your annual salary.

If you have not yet done so, please renew your SVU membership promptly by paying your 2006 dues by the January 31, 2006 deadline or sooner. You can renew your SVU membership online at www.svunet.org! If you have a problem in paying your 2006 dues in one payment, please call the SVU national office at 800-788-8346 for payment options.

We hope that you also will consider making an additional voluntary contribution along with your 2006 dues payment to the SVU Government Relations Fund or the Anne Jones Scholarship Fund.
