5th Edition of SVU Glossary of Terms Handbook Now Available

The SVU Products Committee is pleased to announce that the 5th Edition of SVU’s very popular Glossary of Terms handbook, featuring the terminology for the vascular ultrasound technologist/sonographer, is now available both free online for SVU members as a benefit of membership and for sale as a printed handbook.

This new edition of the Glossary of Terms handbook includes a section on key prefixes and suffixes used in the profession, and also a new five-page section on key acronyms used in the vascular ultrasound profession. Did you ever wonder what CMS means? With this new handbook, you will know that it means the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Two versions available

SVU members can download an online version of the Glossary of Terms handbook for free on the Members’ Only page of the SVU website. The file is in PDF format and can be output on your printer.

However, for those members and non-members who would like to purchase the printed, 86-page glossy version of the Glossary of Terms, 5th Edition, they can do so by accessing the handbook’s order form. SVU is offering a volume discount for those members and non-members who would like to order a number of copies of the printed handbook for all of the vascular technologists/sonographers in their lab. This is the type of handy reference handbook that everyone will want to have, so order multiple copies of it.
