2005 SVU Annual Election

Based on the recommendations of the 2005 Nominating Committee, the Board approved four candidates for three open positions for three-year terms (2006-2008) as Directors on the Board of Directors, and one candidate for each of four SVU Officer Positions for two-year terms as President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, andSecretary. All of these positions will be effective January 1, 2006.

On-site Voting in Chicago

While the deadline for voting in the 2005 Annual Election by absentee ballot was May 27th, SVU members can still vote in Chicago at the SVU Annual Conference. On-site voting will take place in SVU Booth #319 in the exhibit hall. Times for voting will be Thursday, June 16, in the afternoon and Friday, June 17, from morning until 2:00pm when the Exhibit Hall closes for the day. You will have the opportunity to meet the candidates on Thursday afternoon, June 16. You cannot vote in Chicago if you voted previously by absentee ballot. The 2005 Annual Election Results will be announced on Saturday morning, June 18, after the announcement of the Scientific Award and Poster Award winners.
