Scholarships Available for 2005 SVU Annual Conference in Chicago

Would you like to attend SVU’s 28th Annual Conference in Chicago, June 16-18, but cannot afford to go? Thanks to the generous educational grant from Philips Ultrasound, SVU is sponsoring a contest for five members to win a $1000.00 scholarship to attend SVU’s Annual Conference at this year’s exciting Vascular Annual Meeting 2005, June 16-18, in Chicago!

If you would like to participate, send via e-mail to SVU (svuessay@svunet.org) by March 31, 2005 an essay of 350 words or less explaining why SVU should award you one of these scholarships. Please include your name, address, e-mail address, phone, job title, place of employment, number of years of SVU membership, and the reasons why you are unable to attend. A SVU panel will review the submitted essays and notify the scholarship winners by May 2, so that you can make your discounted travel reservations to Chicago.

SVU is very grateful to Philips Ultrasound for this unrestricted $5,000 educational grant so that five SVU members, who would otherwise be unable to attend, will have the opportunity to join us in Chicago, June 16-18, 2005. Remember, the deadline for your essays is March 31, 2005.
