January 2005 | Vol. 23, No. 1 SVU Announces its 2005 Education Program ScheduleThe Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) is pleased to announce its 2005 Education Program Schedule. In 2005, SVU is offering an Introductory and Advanced Interpretation Course, a Physicians’ Vascular Ultrasound Registry Review Course co-sponsored with the Society for Vascular Surgery, the SVU 28th Annual Conference at the Vascular Annual Meeting 2005, and a Current Issues Conference on the latest regulatory and legislative advocacy issues. “Response from the attendees at our 2004 educational programs was very positive, so we believe our members and others will be pleased with the quality continuing education courses to be offered in 2005,” said SVU Executive Director Steve Haracznak. SVU selects experts in the field of vascular ultrasound to lead SVU’s valuable courses and provide technologists and physicians the opportunity to fulfill the continuing medical education (CME) requirements necessary to retain their credentials as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS). The courses also enable various physicians the opportunity to earn Category 1 credit hours towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Detailed information and registration forms for each of the SVU education programs scheduled for 2005 will be found on SVU’s web site at www.svunet.org. 2005 SVU Educational Program Schedule
