CMS Publishes Proposed Rule to Provide Increased Coverage Benefits and Raise Physician Payments for FY 2005 The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has  proposed an across the board 1.5 percent increase in payment rates for physicians taking care of Medicare beneficiaries.
Potential Good News for the Vascular Lab in 2005! According to the CMS proposed rule, the outpatient vascular lab can expect to see an increase in reimbursement for 2005. To assist in planning, SVU has provided two 2005 payment calculators.
