Top Five Key Issues Selected by the SVU Membership

In the April issue of e-Spectrum and also by an email sent to SVU members, we asked our members to select their “top 5 issues” from a list of 11 possible topics to be discussed at a “Key Issues in the Vascular Laboratory Today” session at the Anaheim Annual Conference. As of the April 19 th deadline, the top five issues selected by the SVU members are:

  1. Technologists/Sonographers "reading" studies: How far do we take it?
  2. D-dimer and after hours venous studies
  3. Workloads & Productivity
  4. Multiple Carotid Criteria/SRU consensus: What should we be using?
  5. ARDMS Issues: Rejection of RVT name change and one physics exam proposal

These top five issues will be discussed by various Board Directors at the “Key Issues in the Vascular Laboratory Today” session in Anaheim on Thursday morning, June 3 and there will be some time during an “open forum” session for additional comments from the attendees.
