What Does It Mean to be Accredited?

Questions arose during the last SVU Town Hall meeting regarding what it means for an ultrasound program to be accredited (in regards to ARDMS prerequisites). Students and educators need to be aware that there is a difference between programmatic accreditation and institutional accreditation. [more]

ARDMS Five Year Rule
Candidates who passed one ARDMS exam in 1999 must take the corresponding exam by Dec. 31, 2004 in order to receive their credentials. [more]

CMS Announces Standard Unique Health Identifier
The CMS has announced the adoption of the National Provider Identifier (NPI) as the standard unique health identifier for health care providers to use in filing and processing health care claims and other transactions. [more]
