LANHAM, MD, June 14, 2007 - Fellows Subcommittee Chair Michel Comeaux, RN BSN RVT RDMS FSVU, announced the selection of five new SVU Fellows at the Society for Vascular Ultrasound's 30th Anniversary Annual Conference, June 7-9, 2007, in Baltimore, MD. Each Fellow was ceremoniously presented with a lapel pin and certificate signifying they are a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (FSVU). There are now 56 SVU Fellows. The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) created the membership designation of Fellow to honor outstanding leaders in the Society and preserve the wealth of experience and ability its Fellows have developed throughout their years of dedicated service to SVU and the vascular ultrasound profession. Fellows are recognized by SVU for their many outstanding contributions to the Society as well as to the vascular ultrasound profession. They are considered a unique resource for the Society in terms of promoting the benefits of SVU membership to others and in supporting the many educational, advocacy, and career advancement efforts of the Society.
