SVU Announces 2007 Education Program Schedule

LANHAM, MD, December 20, 2006 –The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) announces its 2007 Education Program Schedule.  In 2007, the Society is offering an Introductory and an Advanced Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Course, as well as its 30th Annual Conference at the Vascular Annual Meeting 2007.  SVU will also present two Registered Physicians in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Exam Review Courses, a Special Vascular Laboratory Testing and Management Course, and a Current Issues Conference for the year. 
SVU selects experts in the field of vascular ultrasound to lead SVU’s valuable courses and provide vascular technologists and physicians the opportunity to fulfill the continuing medical education (CME) requirements necessary to retain their credentials as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).  The courses also enable physicians the opportunity to earn Category 1 credit hours towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.  Some vascular ultrasound vendors exhibit their equipment and educational material at each course.  Detailed information and registration for each of the SVU education programs scheduled for 2007 will be available on SVU’s web site at www.svunet.org.
