Patricia Marques Receives SVU’s 2005 Leadership Award

LANHAM, MD, July 11, 2005 -- The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) awarded the 2005 Leadership Award to Patricia S. Marques, RN RVT FSVU, of Baton Rouge, LA. Patricia is currently the Director of Clinical Development at the Vascular Associates Laboratory, Baton Rouge, LA.

The Leadership Award is the most prestigious service award offered by SVU. It is presented to SVU members who have made outstanding contributions to the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. The Leadership Award was given to Patricia Marques in recognition of her exceptional leadership and truly visionary work as 2000-2001 SVU President and her work on the SVU Government Relations Committee.

The award was presented at the SVU 28th Annual Conference held during the 2005 Vascular Meeting, June 16-18, 2005 in Chicago, IL.
