LANHAM, MD, July 11, 2005 – Fellows Subcommittee Chair Michael W. Schwebler, MBA RVT, announced the selection of three new SVU Fellows at the 28th Society for Vascular Ultrasound Annual Conference in Chicago, IL. Each Fellow was ceremoniously presented with a lapel pin signifying they are a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (FSVU). There are now 48 SVU Fellows. The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) created the membership designation of Fellow to honor outstanding leaders in the industry and preserve the wealth of experience and ability its Fellows have developed throughout their years of dedicated effort. Fellows are recognized by SVU for their many outstanding contributions to the Society as well as to the vascular ultrasound profession. They are considered a unique resource for the Society in terms of promoting the benefits of SVU membership to others and in supporting the many educational, advocacy, and career advancement efforts of the Society.
