SVU Elects New Officers and Three New Board Directors

 

LANHAM, MD, June 30, 2005 — The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) recently elected new officers and three new Board Directors for terms effective January 1, 2006. SVU members voted both by Absentee Ballot and in-person during SVU’s 28th Annual Conference, June 16-18, 2005 in Chicago, IL.  

SVU OFFICERS (Two-year terms: 2006-2007)

SVU President George L. Berdejo, BA RVT FSVU, steps down at the end of this year and 2004 President-Elect Melissa A. Vickery, LPN-B RVT, will become the new SVU President effective January 1, 2006. Ms. Vickery is the Technical Director/Manager of the Vascular Lab at Virginia Surgical Associates, PC, in Richmond, VA.
