SVU Elects Three New Board Directors and Secretary

LANHAM, MD, June 24, 2004 — The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) announces the election of three new Board Directors and a Secretary for 2005.

New Board Directors : (elected to a three-year term starting January 1, 2005)

• Kathleen M. Greene, RN, BS, RVT, RDMS Technical Director, Connecticut Vascular Institute, Hartford, CT  
• Joseph P. Hughes, RVT, RCVT, RVS VP of Clinical Operations, Phoenix Cardiovascular, Inc., Doylestown, PA  
• LeAnn Maupin, M.Ed., RT (R), RVT, FASA Program Director/Assistant Professor, Oregon Institute of Technology, Klamath Falls, OR

Secretary: (1 year term in 2005)

• Kathleen A. Carter, BSN, RN, RVT, FSVU Technical Director, Vascular Laboratory Services, Vascular & Transplant Services, Norfolk, VA

SVU members voted both by Absentee Ballot and in-person during SVU’s 27th Annual Conference, June 3 - 5, 2004 in Anaheim, CA. These Board Directors and elected officer will take office effective January 1, 2005.
