2008 SVU Annual Election

Soon you will receive in the mail the 2008 SVU Annual Election absentee ballot and candidate profiles.

Based on the recommendations of the 2008 Nominations Subcommittee, the SVU Board Directors approved six Board Director candidates for three open Technologist Director positions for a three-year term, effective January 1, 2009.

Three ways to cast your ballot:

  1. Voting by Official SVU Absentee Ballot
    For those that will not be in San Diego, please mail your absentee ballot to the address below, or fax (301-459-5651) your ballot to the National Office by Friday, May 23, 2008.

  2. Voting On-line
    If you would prefer to vote in advance by our online absentee ballot, online voting will begin on the Member’s Only Website page in April. The deadline for the Absentee Ballots to be received at the SVU National Office is Friday, May 23, 2007.

  3. On-site Voting in San Diego
    On-site voting will take place in SVU Booth #104 in the VAM Exhibit Hall at the San Diego Convention Center. You will have the opportunity to meet the candidates on Thursday morning, June 5, at the SVU General Session. You cannot vote in San Diego if you voted previously by absentee ballot. The 2008 Annual Election Results will be announced on Saturday afternoon, June 7, 2008.

Remember to watch your mail boxes for your SVU Board Director candidate profiles and absentee ballot. All Absentee Ballots must be received at the SVU national office no later than Friday, May 23, 2008.
