Former SNIVT member Stephen P. Griffey, M.D., 53, of Southborough, MA, died on Nov. 8, 2007 at his home following a long illness. He was active in the Society as a Board Director and local arrangements chair for the 1982 SNIVT Annual Conference in Boston. He was the technical director of the vascular lab at the Lahey Clinic before he went to Georgetown Medical School, graduating in 1987. He was a surgeon at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. His family said that expressions of sympathy may be made in Steve’s name to St. Matthew’s Parish Scholarship Fund, 105 Southville Road, Southborough, MA 01772. |
