SVU Announces its 2009 Education Program ScheduleThe Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) has announced its 2009 Education Program Schedule. In 2009, the Society is offering an Introductory and an Advanced Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Course, two RPVI Exam Review Courses, a day-long Strategies for a Profitable Vascular Lab Course before the start of the 2009 SVU Annual Conference, our 2009 Annual Conference at the Vascular Annual Meeting 2009 in Denver, and SVU’s 2009 Current Issues Conference. SVU selects vascular technologist and physician experts in the vascular ultrasound profession to lead SVU’s valuable courses, and also provide vascular technologists and physicians the opportunity to fulfill the continuing medical education (CME) requirements necessary to retain their credentials as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), or Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) with ARDMS; or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with CCI. The courses also enable physicians the opportunity to earn Category 1 credit hours towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Some vascular ultrasound vendors exhibit their equipment and educational material at each course. Check the SVU website at www.svunet.org for program details or for registration information for each of the 2009 SVU educational programs.
