Registered Physician in Vascular
Interpretation Exam Review Course

This 2½-day advanced course is an in-depth review for physicians planning to sit for the ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam.

Physicians passing the exam will receive the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential from ARDMS. This course will focus on reviewing the required vascular physics and interpretation skills as specified by the exam content outline, including case- based test question simulation. Each attendee will receive a complimentary CD of case studies from the course. The course faculty consists of physicians, vascular technologists and a physicist, all experts in the field of vascular ultrasound.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
  • Physicians planning to sit for the new ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam
  • Physicians (including but not limited to: vascular surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, neurologists) who want to specialize in vascular ultrasound
  • Physicians desiring to review and improve their vascular laboratory interpretation skills
  • Physicians who require AMA Category I Continuing Medical Education credits
  • Vascular technologists who want to be challenged in the vascular field and need additional CMEs
COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be prepared to:

  • Demonstrate improved interpretation skills for various noninvasive tests: abdominal, arterial, venous, and cerebrovascular
  • Formulate a better understanding of ultrasound physics concepts and their application to the field of vascular diagnostics
  • Sit for the new ARDMS Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam (visit the ARDMS web site for specific prerequisites at www.ardms.org)
