This 2½-day advanced course is an in-depth review for physicians planning to sit for the new ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam, which ARDMS started offering in January 2006.
Physicians passing the exam will receive the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential from ARDMS. This course will focus on reviewing the required vascular physics and interpretation skills as specified by the exam content outline, including case-based test question simulation. Each attendee will receive a complimentary CD of case studies from the course. An additional RPVI Exam Simulation CD, to be available later at a discounted fee to each course attendee, will include test taking strategies, exam simulations following the content outline and format, and an intelligent analysis of performance. The course faculty consists of physicians, vascular technologists and a physicist, all experts in the field of vascular ultrasound.
