This one-day vascular physics course is an in-depth review of vascular physics for physicians planning to sit for the new ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam.

Physicians passing the ARDMS exam will receive the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential from ARDMS. This one-day course, taught by Frank Miele, MSEE, President of Pegasus Lectures, Inc., will focus on reviewing the vascular physics skills as specified by the exam content outline, including case-based test question simulation. Each attendee will receive a complimentary CD of PowerPoint presentations and case studies from the course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • Physicians planning to sit for the new ARDMS Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) Certification Exam
  • Physicians (including but not limited to: vascular surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, neurologists) who want to improve their knowledge of vascular physics
  • Physicians who require AMA Category I Continuing Medical Education credits
  • Vascular technologists who want to be challenged in the vascular field and need additional CMEs

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, attendees should:

  • Formulate a better understanding of ultrasound physics concepts and their application to the field of vascular diagnostics
  • Have a better understanding of Vascular Physics to help prepare them for the physics portion of the new ARDMS RPVI certification exam
