CME Credits

All CME Certificates will be distributed at the end of the Course or when you leave. Credit hours only will be given for those hours that you attend the Course.

For Physicians

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Penn State College of Medicine and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. Penn State College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Penn State College of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 17.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit comensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

For Technologists

A total of 17.25 SVU-Continuing Medical Education (SVU-CME) credit hours are available on an hour-for-hour basis and may be used to fulfill the continuing education requirements necessary to retain your RVT credential with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), your RVS credential with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or for your lab’s accreditation with the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
