SVU Inducts Four New Fellows for 2008 |

Fellows Subcommittee Chair Debbie Pirt, RVT FSVU, announced at SVU’s Annual Conference, June 5-7, 2008 in San Diego, CA, the selection of four new SVU Fellows for 2008. Fellows are SVU members recognized for their many outstanding contributions to the Society as well as to the vascular ultrasound profession. They are considered a unique resource for the Society in terms on promoting the benefits of SVU membership to others in the vascular ultrasound profession, and in supporting the many other efforts of the Society. There are now 60 SVU Fellows. The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) created the membership designation of Fellow to honor outstanding leaders in the Society and preserve the wealth of experience and ability its Fellows have developed throughout their years of dedicated service to SVU and the vascular ultrasound profession. Fellows are recognized by SVU for their many outstanding contributions to the Society as well as to the vascular ultrasound profession. They are considered a unique resource for the Society in terms of promoting the benefits of SVU membership to others and in supporting the many educational, advocacy, and career advancement efforts of the Society.
