OIG Posts FY 2003 Work Plan

10/02/02 The HHS Office of Inspector General has posted the Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2003 (PDF, 842k) to the OIG's website.

Beyond the summaries in the Work Plan, no further information is available on these Reports. Therefore, we will not be able to answer queries for additional detail. Hard copies of the Work Plan will not be available, but if you have a difficulties downloading this document, we will be glad to email you a copy.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) Work Plan is set forth in four chapters encompassing the various projects to be addressed during Fiscal Year (FY) 2003 by the Office of Audit Services, Office of Evaluation and Inspections, Office of Investigations, and Office of Counsel to the Inspector General. The first three chapters present the full range of projects planned in each of the major entities of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS): the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (formerly known as the Health Care Financing Administration), the public health agencies, and the Administrations for Children, Families, and Aging. The fourth chapter embraces those projects related to issues that cut across Department programs, including State and local government use of Federal funds, as well as the functional areas of the Office of the Secretary.

As always, if we can provide further information or assistance let us know either by email paffairs@smtp.oig.hhs.gov or phone (202/619-1343) how we can help.
