SVU-CME Information Kit

Fees

Beginning January 2004, programs will be categorized as (1) in-person or (2) self-instruction. For the in-person programs, fees will be based on the length of the program and the total credits offered per year. Fees for self-instruction programs will include a base fee, in addition to a fee for the number of course/program participants.

In-person programs include laboratory conferences, case study review meetings, literature review meetings, symposia, training programs, and any other type of educational course, conference, or meeting).

Self-Instruction

Self-instruction programs include journal articles, audio programs, video programs, and computer-based, web-based, and other home-based instructional education. The criteria that apply to all other programs seeking SVU-CME, including the submission of program purpose, objectives, faculty experience, etc., still apply.

Self Instruction fees

Base fee is $125, plus $5/credit provided.
Example: A computer-based program offering 1 credit to 400 people: $2,125 ($125 +[400 x $5])
